Bumblebee Story
A Million Thanks to Debra Bishop!!!

Directors,

I wanted to share this postcard with you that I just created.  At Leadership, Laura Poling, the #1 Director in the Warfield Area, talked about telling the bumblebee story to her prospects and then offering them a bee pin if they made a 24 hour decision.

That got me to thinking, once again, about the traditions of Mary Kay and the bumblebee is a big part of our tradition.  I want to do my part to keeping those traditions alive, especially with my new consultants.

I did an interview yesterday and opened it up by sharing with her a little of the history of Mary Kay and included the bumblebee story.  When I got through telling her, she thought that was just the most precious story (just like Laura told us so many of her prospects thought).  After I was done, she wanted to think about it, so I offered her a Bee pin if she made her decision in 24 hours.

She called me today and has already filled out her agreement & can't wait to get her bee.  YEAH!!!

I created the attached card to give to people when I am done interviewing them and they need to "think" about it.  It will have the Bee Story on it, along with my contact info....another reminder for them. The Pub version is attached in case you want to use it and personalize it.  I've also attached it in PDF in a generic version.  You'll need to sign it and add your phone number.  You can also give it to your consultants that do their own interviews, then they'll know your name when you follow up.

Thanks to Laura for reminding me of this story and why I need to be using it to keep Mary Kay's traditions alive.
