| Just wanted to share some exciting news with you and hope that you will try it also. I warm chattered a woman 2 weeks ago and although she was not interested in a facial, just to busy. I asked her permission to send her samples of our products and get her opinion of them, she agreed and called me yesterday and ordered a Miracle Set plus Firming Eye Cream and Microdermabrasion. Total was over $200. I am so glad I asked to send her samples. $200 and did not even need to facial her although I will get that facial in the future after I deliver her products and ask her to be in my Before and After Portfolio. SHOW AND TELL AND IT WILL SELL!! I also used NSD Lisa Madson's idea of putting a sample of something they are not on and offering 40% off on any item not currently using. I have had 4 customers take advantage of this and all bought the sample of the product I gave them which was Microdermabrasion. Did not make a profit on those sales but did cover the cost of the product and am sure the reorders will come from this and that will amount to over $100 a year in reorders from each customer. Just ask Lynn McDonnell, Melinda Davies, Jennifer Gregg, Hiliary Holtzen, Jan Strieter and Adrienne Tousignant. Lisa invited our unit to phone in daily for the latest training ideas on her hotline. | WOW!! What an AWESOME and FUN time I had this weekend. I did a wedding party Saturday and I must say I did an incredible job they looked FABULOUS. I did the wedding party a month ago and that was a $700 class and to see them after a month and how much their skin had become so BEAUTIFUL. Potential new team member riding the fence also. Sunday I was asked to do a group of retired women pilots that came here for the day, it was so much FUN, I did it in a hanger at the base. that was a first, no bathroom and had to bring in water so we just did hand facials. They were so excited and thrilled to be pampered and what a good name it gave Mary Kay. Two of them bought the Ultimate Miracle set plus so it was over $400 in 1 hour. | I am so excited! I had a class last night that turned out to be amazing! 7 faces closer in my 100 Face Race (this doesn't include hostess or her friend who were facialed on Saturday). It got kinda hectic and noisy at times, but so far we have in over $400 in sales! I haven't closed out yet because she still has a few more outside orders and we haven't done her sale yet! How exciting! The most successful thing for me, though, is beyond the sales. As I was sitting down with her after all of the guest left, we were chatting and picking out color samples for her to try. She says, and I quote, "You and I are going to get to know each other real well because this is something for a lifetime. This is an amazing product!" The friendships so out weigh anything else that I've gained in Mary Kay. Surrounding yourself with wonderful women, like you, is success in itself! | |

| Hey,Mary Kay Sisters! I just had my debut last night and it was awesome! I have the greatest and most supportive friends. I had $225.00 in sales at the party and had another $87.00 in outside orders for a total of $312.00! I was unable to book any women last night but I do have a list of about six ladies who are definitely interested. My challenge this week is the blue gumball (Yes, that is 5 calls for 5 days) and this will be what motivates me to contact all these ladies (after 48 hours of course). | I had a facial last night with a wonderful woman. She had called me only to order an eyeliner. I offered her a facial and she agreed. When I got there, she kept commenting how wonderful and nice I looked. So ladies, don't forget to be "dressed" any time you go out. Have on your face and your pin if nothing else! But when I started with the skin care and was matching her foundation, she said, nope, I don't wear that. It was always to thick for her. So I asked her just to try and she agreed. Ladies, she loved it and is now a Mary Kay skin care user! She purchased the basic, which has the foundation in it! I love my business as I help women enrich their lives by helping them to feel wonderful! Don't you? | |

| While speaking to several men I know in my hometown in Texas, I sold 2 of them ladie's parfums, satin hands and nail polishes. One more will be ordering lipsticks and lip balm tommorrow. I told them to shop for Valentine's Day early. As for 1 of the wives, she ordered men's body wash and cologne. A few orders from here locally will be made within the next 2 days or sooner. I encouraged the hostess to give me feedback regarding the interaction, and she was very diplomatic about the whole affair. But the bottom line was that my response to the guest that used an unfamliar product was to promote MK.
